Ingest spans. Understand services.
Follow the evidence across requests.
Send OpenTelemetry spans directly to Epok’s owned ingest pipeline. Request rate, error rate, p50/p95/p99 latency and Apdex sit beside trace waterfalls and a live service map. Spans produce service observations, dependency edges and change evidence with receipts and coverage for your team and agents. Use open shippers — no proprietary Epok agent for server-side telemetry.
A slow request crosses service boundaries. Its waterfall shows timing; understanding the failure also requires dependency context, recent changes, related logs and the signals that are missing from the inspected window.
Epok turns ingested spans into evidence the team and agents can check. A latency regression and a nearby deployment are observations to investigate. A causal conclusion needs supporting evidence, with receipts back to the spans and metrics and coverage showing the limits of the comparison. Inspect an evidence item or request MCP agent gateway access.
RED service pages, from your spans
Request rate, error rate, and p50/p95/p99 latency per service and per endpoint — derived server-side directly from your OpenTelemetry spans. Apdex, a latency histogram, and deploy markers on every chart. No extra aggregation tier to run.
Distributed trace waterfalls
Open any slow or errored request as a full span tree — the bottleneck span, the exception, and what's different about this trace versus a healthy one, selected for you.
A live service map
Upstream and downstream dependencies drawn from real trace context, with error and latency badges on each edge — so you see how a failure propagates, not just where it lands.
Deploy regression comparison
Compare error rate and p95 before and after a release, with deployment timing on the timeline. The change becomes evidence for analysis; proximity alone does not establish that the release caused the regression.
SLOs and burn-rate alerts
Latency and availability SLOs with error-budget burn — computed from the same span data, no extra instrumentation to add.
Root cause across signals
Trace evidence joins logs and metrics in incident analysis. Epok commits a cause only with supporting evidence IDs and receipts; otherwise it says what is missing and what to check next. Recovery starts with change and blast radius while analysis continues. We recommend; you execute. Included, not a premium add-on.
- ✓Golden signals within minutes of pointing your OpenTelemetry collector at Epok
- ✓One flat bill across logs, metrics, traces, and RUM — no per-host fees, no per-signal SKU, no cardinality tax
- ✓Service observations, dependency edges and release changes with receipts and coverage, including what was not seen
Your team uses the app, Slack and PagerDuty. Agents query the same evidence through the MCP agent gateway, with access on request. Shared trace context connects requests; coverage exposes missing or sampled spans.
